Symbolic Meaning:
Each step you take represents the journey of those who are displaced or orphaned, walking long distances for basic needs. This challenge symbolises resilience, perseverance, and the tireless struggle of the less fortunate who must continue moving forward despite their hardships.
Cycle 313 km individually in 10 days or as a group each week in Ramadan or as a family with children once in Ramadan.
Symbolic Meaning:
Cycling represents the cycle of life and the ongoing efforts that many orphans and homeless people experience in order to survive each day. This challenge reminds us of their daily struggle to find stability and security, urging us to be compassionate and take action to support those in need.
Do 313 push-ups in a week individually in Ramadan or every week once in Ramadan as a group.
Symbolic Meaning:
Each push-up symbolises the strength and determination required by orphans, the poor, and the homeless to overcome obstacles and adversity. Through this challenge, we pay tribute to their resilience and mental fortitude in the face of life's difficulties.
Cut out all sugar for the entire month or challenge yourself to go sugar-free for 3 days each week (e.g., no sugary drinks or sweets).
Symbolic Meaning:
Giving up sugar for Ramadan represents the sacrifice and self-discipline that many individuals living in poverty or without homes must practice daily. They often lack access to basic comforts, including food security, and this challenge serves as a reminder of the privilege we have and the importance of gratitude and generosity toward those less fortunate.
